Public Hearing

  1. 2 50th and France Special Service District ordinance (2022-00794)

    1. Passage of Ordinance amending Title 17, Chapter 428 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Streets and Sidewalks: 50th and France Special Service District, amending the district boundary to include a new mixed-use development site located at 49th and France Ave S.

  2. 3 Downtown Business Improvement Special Service District: 2023 proposed services and service charges (2022-00743)

    1. Passage of Resolution approving the 2023 operating plan, special services, cost estimates, service charges, and the list of 2023 service charges for the Downtown Business Improvement Special Service District (428A District), and authorizing the Department of Public Works to proceed with the work.

  3. 4 Special Service Districts (428A Districts): 2023 proposed services and service charges (2022-00744)

    1. Passage of Resolution approving the 2023 operating plans, special services, cost estimates, service charges, and the lists of 2023 service charges for the 50th and France, 54th & Lyndale, Bloomington-Lake, Chicago-Lake, East Lake, Lyndale-Lake, and West Broadway Improvement Special Service Districts (428A Districts) and authorizing the Department of Public Works to proceed with the work.

  1. 5 Lake Hiawatha stormwater management (2022-00861)

    1. Directing staff to develop a permanent solution for improving stormwater entering Lake Hiawatha through City-owned infrastructure in order to address litter and improve water quality, and to report back by Apr 30, 2023.

  2. 6 Stormwater Management Program and Annual Report (2022-00452)

    1. Authorizing Public Works to submit the City of Minneapolis and Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Stormwater Management Program to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for review and approval.

  3. 7 2024 Street Resurfacing Program: Easements (2022-00863)

    1. Authorizing negotiation with private property owners to acquire easements and additional right-of-way, if necessary, as part of the 2024 Street Resurfacing Program.

  4. 8 Uniform Assessment Rates: Establishing 2023 rates (2022-00864)

    1. Passage of Resolution establishing uniform assessment rates for street construction, street renovation, street resurfacing, and alley construction and resurfacing improvements for the 2023 calendar year.

  1. 9 Mexican Independence Day Large Block Event Permit: Sept 18, 2022 (2022-00877)

    1. Approving the application submitted by Sabri Properties LLC for a large block event permit to allow the Mexican Independence Day Block Party to be held on Sept 18, 2022, on Lake St E between 2nd Ave S and Portland Ave S.
