    1. Accepting a Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) from Hennepin County, in the amount of $281,684.51, to support Police Department and City Attorney's Office initiatives.

    2. Authorizing an agreement with Hennepin County for the grant through Sept 30, 2025.

  2. 3 Grant application to the U.S. Department of Justice for the 2023 Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) hiring grant This link open a new window(2023-00373)

    1. Authorizing the submission of a grant application to the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services, in the amount of $1,250,000, to hire ten additional police officers over three years to support the City's efforts to address violent crime and gun violence.

    1. Passage of Resolution approving changes to the Public Art Policies and Procedures, related to the City's portable art collection, the process for locating artworks, and ensuring a manageable portable collection.

    1. Authorizing an agreement with Health Career Connection (HCC), in the amount of $7,900, to host a public health intern in the Health Department for the period, May 15, 2023, through Dec 31, 2023.
