Background Analysis
Minneapolis Police Department will provide law enforcement patrol services in support of the Minneapolis Safety Initiative and increase police visibilities where safety perception has indicated need for extra police presence from January 17, 2022 through December 31, 2022 compensated at $107 per hour per officer. MSI & MPD will agree upon the number of hours in the forthcoming month for which MSI wishes to engage MPD as agreed to by MPD. Buy back is voluntary and MPD is not obligated to provide officers if officers do not volunteer to work. Rate used covers salary, fringe, equipment usage.
