      1. Considering amendments to the charter proposed by the City Council to:
        1. Add initiative and referendum for the sole purpose of exercising the City's authority to control rents on private residential property in the City, and
        2. Explicitly add the City's authority to exercise power to control rents on private residential property in the City.
      2. Considering whether the amendments adhere to the Charter Commission’s adopted amendment proposal standards.
      3. Considering the timeline for legal review date of the proposed charter amendments.
      4. Considering setting a public hearing for the proposed charter amendments.
    Action Taken: No action taken
  2. 4 Rent Stabilization Work Group plan This link open a new window(CH2021-00016)
    1. Approving a work group plan and associated timeline to complete assessment of the proposed charter amendments.
    Action Taken: Approved as amended
