Minneapolis Boards, Commissions, and Advisory Committees

Minneapolis has over 50 volunteer-based boards, commissions and advisory committees, with over 500 members. The City actively seeks applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Appointments are made twice each year; in the Spring and in the Fall. Interim appointments are made as needed.

Civil Rights Commission

Carries forward the policies of the city in the field of human relations, to promote civil rights and to enforce the provisions of the title on civil rights.
