    1. Passage of Resolution approving the local historic landmark designation (PLAN 4011) of Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church located at 2501 Columbus Ave, subject to conditions.

  2. 3 Minneapolis Arts Commission Appointments This link open a new window(2017-01462)
    1. Approving the following Council appointments for one-year terms beginning Jan. 1, 2016, and ending Dec. 31, 2018:

           1.   Alyssa Perau, Seat 2, Ward 9.

           2.   Erika Dani , Seat 14, Ward 4.

    2. Approving the Council appointment of Joan Vorderbruggen, Seat 17, Ward 10, for a two-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2017, and ending Dec. 31, 2019.

    3. Confirming the following Mayoral appointment of Hannah Gary, Seat 10, Ward 5, for a three-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2017, and ending Dec. 31, 2020.       

    4. Approving the following Council appointments for three-year terms beginning Jan. 1, 2017, and ending Dec. 31, 2020:

    1. Passage of Ordinance amending Title 20 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Zoning Code, amending regulations related to pet boarding and animal shelters:

      1. Chapter 520, Introductory Provisions
      2. Chapter 536, Specific Development Standards
      3. Chapter 541, Off-Street Parking and Loading
      4. Chapter 548, Commercial Districts
      5. Chapter 549, Downtown Districts
      6. Chapter 550, Industrial Districts

Addendum

  1. 9 Van White Memorial Boulevard Station Small Area Plan This link open a new window(2017-01464)
    1. Directing staff to work with the Harrison Neighborhood Association to incorporate their concerns about affordable housing and land use into the Comprehensive Plan and any possible revisions to the Van White Memorial Blvd Station Small Area Plan; and also to work with the Harrison Neighborhood Association to acknowledge their concerns in the revisions being considered to the Unified Housing Policy of the City of Minneapolis.
