    1. Approving the settlement of the Workers’ Compensation claim of Thomas J. Mack by payment in the amount of $140,000 to Thomas J. Mack and his attorneys, Meuser Law Firm, and authorizing the City Attorney’s Office to execute any documents necessary to effectuate the settlement.

    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. C-43186 in the amount of $6,800, for a new total of $323,700, to allow for close out and final payment on the contract for the Convention Center drinking fountains replacement project.

Passage or Resolution accepting travel support in the amount of $1,000 for airfare and lodging for two nights for Kelly Muellman to attend a one-day workshop for the climate risk mapping tool on Sept. 24, 2018, and registration for the following Great Lakes Adaptation Forum on Sept. 25-26, 2018, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. C-37605 with Navex Global, Inc. in the amount of $ 20,234, for an new not-to-exceed total of $ 41,484, and extending the contract for an additional three (3) years for employee ethics report line services.

    1. Approving one salary step to be temporarily added to the salary schedule for the existing politically-appointed title Principal Policy Aide, and limiting that step rate to an existing position in the Mayor’s office, Position No. 00002140, which shall terminate when either the Mayor determines the step rate is no longer needed or on Dec. 31, 2021, unless further extended by the City Council.

    2. Passage of Ordinance amending Title 2, Chapter 20 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Administration: Personnel, approving the 2018 salary schedule for the position, which has a salary range of $88,327 to $113,000, to be increased in accordance with any across the board increases provided to the politically-appointed pay group in 2019 through 2021.

    3. Accepting a grant from The Minneapolis Foundation in the amount of $50,000 to secure in-house management and consulting expertise tied to the development of goals and strategies surrounding racial equity gaps in housing, economic inclusion, and police community relations.

    4. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Mayor's Office.

    1. Receiving and filing the list of Staff Purchasing Letters (low bid awards) and Joint Powers Letters (Cooperative Purchasing Ventures (CPV)) issued for the month of May 2018.

  9. 10 Grant from Minneapolis Downtown Improvement District for street outreach This link open a new window(2018-00780)
    1. Accepting a grant from the Minneapolis Downtown Improvement District, in an amount not to exceed $40,000 for a one-year period, to provide street outreach in downtown on Friday and Saturday nights from 10:00 pm - 2:00 am.

    2. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Health Department.

    1. Authorizing a contract with Toole Design Group, in an amount not to exceed $158,854, for the Minneapolis Vision Zero Action Plan development.

  11. 12 Acquisition of land from Hennepin County for a storm water holding pond This link open a new window(2018-00730)
    1. Passage of Resolution authorizing the acquisition of land located at 1230 New Brighton Blvd from Hennepin County for a stormwater holding pond, and authorizing agreements with Hennepin County Regional Rail Authority and the State of Minnesota to facilitate the installation and maintenance of the stormwater holding pond.

  12. 13 Contract amendment with Yerigan Construction Company for Nicollet Mall art restoration This link open a new window(2018-00786)
    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. C-42507 with Yerigan Construction Company, in the amount of $192,897, for a new not-to-exceed total of $408,087, for art restoration and reinstallation on Nicollet Mall.

  13. 14 METRO Blue Line Extension Light Rail Transit (LRT) Project: Master Funding Agreement This link open a new window(2018-00790)
    1. Authorizing the proper City officers to execute a Master Funding Agreement with the Metropolitan Council for the METRO Blue Line Extension LRT Project (Bottineau Corridor).

    2. Authorizing the proper City officers, acting on behalf of the City, to comply with and certify compliance every year with the most recent version of the federal “Annual List of Certifications and Assurances for Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Grants and Cooperative Agreements.”

    3. Authorizing the Director of Public Works to be the representative for the City for the purpose of signing FTA Certifications and Assurances and any other documents necessary to qualify to receive project funding for the METRO Blue Line Extension LRT Project.

    4. Authorizing the City Attorney to sign any required legal certifications necessary to qualify to receive project funding for the METRO Blue Line Extension LRT Project.

    1. Accepting the low bid of Lametti & Sons, Inc., submitted on Official Publication No. 8574, in the amount of $957,922, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals for the installation of large diameter cured-in-place pipe for the City of Minneapolis Public Works Department, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.

  15. 16 28th Ave S (58th St E to City limit) Street Reconstruction: Project approval, assessment, and areaway abandonment This link open a new window(2018-00795)
    1. Passage of Resolution ordering the work to proceed and adopting special assessments in the amount of $52,405 for the 28th Ave S (58th St E to City limit) Street Reconstruction Project No. 6761 (CPV134).

    2. Passage of Resolution requesting the Board of Estimate and Taxation to authorize the City's issuance and sale of assessment bonds in the amount of $52,405 for the project.

    3. Passage of Resolution ordering the abandonment and removal of areaways located in the public right-of-way in conflict with the project.

    1. Accepting a grant from Hennepin County, in the amount of $53,900, to purchase public sidewalk recycling containers for the Eat Street and Stadium Village Special Service Districts.

    2. Authorizing an agreement with Hennepin County for the grant.

    3. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Public Works Department.
