    1. Considering the reappointment by the Executive Committee of Christine Siewert, Seat 2, for a three-year term, beginning Mar. 1, 2018, and ending Feb. 28, 2021.

    2. Considering the reappointment by the Executive Committee of Macey Wheeler, Seat 3, for a three-year term, beginning Mar. 1, 2017, and ending Feb. 28, 2020.

    1. Authorizing the settlement of the lawsuit Andre Agee v. City of Minneapolis, et al. (Court File No. 16-2341) by payment in the amount of $10,000 to Andre Agee and his attorneys, and authorizing the City Attorney’s Office to execute any documents necessary to effectuate settlement.

  2. 4 Contract with Cornerstone Advocacy Services to provide dedicated advocacy work for victims of domestic violence This link open a new window(2018-00603)
    1. Authorizing an agreement with Cornerstone Advocacy Service in an amount not-to-exceed $60,000 per year for the period of June 1, 2018 - May 31, 2019, with the option to extend the contract on an annual basis for up to three (3) additional years, for domestic violence advocacy services to work with the Domestic Assault Unit of the Minneapolis Police Department and the Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office as part of the City's coordinated community response to domestic violence.

    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No C-42641 in the amount of $30,856 for a new total of $597,856 to allow for close out and final payment related to change orders on the Minneapolis Convention Center Wayfinding Signage project.

    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No C-43132 in the amount of $31,631.67 for a new total of $530,556.67 to allow for close out and final payment related to change orders on the Minneapolis Convention Center Wayfinding Signage project. 

  5. 7 One-time funds transfer from the City Coordinator's Office to the Community Planning and Economic Development Department (CPED) for an Energy Technical Assistance Program (E-TAP) This link open a new window(2018-00604)
    1. Authorizing the one-time transfer of $100,000 from the City Coordinator's 2018 budget to the Community Planning and Economic Development Department  for the creation of an Energy Technical Assistance Program (E-TAP) serving small businesses beginning in 2018.

  7. 9 Contract Amendment with Industrial Hygiene Services Corporation for general hygiene and testing services This link open a new window(2018-00607)
    1. Approving an increase to Contract No. C-40650 with Industrial Hygiene Services Corporation in the amount of $49,115, for a new not-to-exceed amount of $100,000, and also extending the contract through June 30, 2019, for providing general hygiene and testing services such as mold, lead, and asbestos testing, as well as hazardous conditions testing like indoor air quality noise level testing.

  8. 10 Contract with Professional Service Industries, Inc. for vibration monitoring services for the Public Service Building project (formerly referred to as the Consolidated Office Building project) This link open a new window(2018-00608)
    1. Authorizing a multi-year contract with Professional Service Industries, Inc., in an amount not-to-exceed $ 165,000 over the life of the contract, to provide vibration and crack monitoring services for the Public Service Building project (formerly referred to as the Consolidated Office Building project.)

    2. Passage of Resolution appropriating an additional $165,000 to the Capital Project Fund and declaring the City Council’s official intent to reimburse these expenditures with proceeds from tax-exempt bonds.

  9. 11 Amendment to the Joint Powers Agreement with the MN Department of Public Safety - Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for participation of the state's Human Trafficking Task Force This link open a new window(2018-00614)
    1. Authorizing an amendment to Contract No. C-43292 with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety - Bureau of Criminal Apprehension to include funding in the amount of $188,686.56 for an intelligence analyst and officer overtime to work on the state Human Trafficking Task Force for the first 18 months of the five-year agreement, from Jan.1, 2018 - June 30, 2019.

    1. Accepting a grant from the Minneapolis Foundation/Environmental Legacy Fund, in the amount of $20,000, for the Minneapolis Solar Energy Green Business Initiative.

    2. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Health Department.

    1. Passage of Resolution accepting a donation in the amount of $41,876 from Kelly Doran that will provide for Minneapolis 911 response officers and others to carry Narcan.

    1. Approving an amendment to Contract No. C-43673 with SMG to correct the hourly rate for 911 dispatchers by reducing from $105 per hour to $65 per hour, for a new not-to-exceed amount of $523,500, for the entire contract (new not-to-exceed amount of $19,500 for 911 dispatchers), for Vikings football preseason, Vikings football regular season, X Games Minneapolis and other large scale events at US Bank Stadium, excluding Final Four events.

  13. 15 Contract with the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center for Police K-9 health services This link open a new window(2018-00573)
    1. Authorizing a contract with the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center in the amount of $34,560 for one (1) year from July 1, 2018 - June 30, 2019, and using the contract form provided by the Regents of the University of Minnesota for veterinary services for Police K-9s.

Accepting the low bid of Engineering and Construction Innovations, Inc., submitted on Official Publication No. 8558, in the amount of $309,450, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals for the construction of the 14th Ave S Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project for the City of Minneapolis - Public Works Department, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.

    2. Passage of Resolution requesting the Board of Estimate and Taxation authorize the City's issuance and sale of assessment bonds in the amount of $28,250 for the 37th Ave NE Resurfacing Project.

Authorizing Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. C-41585 with Rice Lake Construction Group, increasing the contract by $38,302, for a revised contract total of $4,253,639, for additional services associated with the Fridley Softening Plant Recarbonation Improvements Project, and extending the contract to Dec 31, 2018.

Passage of Resolution directing the Hennepin County Auditor to cancel the special assessment for sewer service line repair improvements for payable 2018 and subsequent years tax files for the property located at 1915 Talmage Ave SE in the amount of $2,940 and directing the Risk Management & Claims Division to issue a refund for assessments collected on 2016 and 2017 property tax statements in the amount of $2,406.

Accepting the sole bid of Emergency Automotive Technologies, Inc., submitted on Official Publication No. 8556, in the amount of $149,018.69, to furnish and deliver 2018 Minneapolis Police Squad Car Up-Fitting Kits for the City of Minneapolis Public Works Fleet Division, all in accordance with City specifications.

    1. Passage of Resolution authorizing application for and acceptance of a $2,000,000 grant from the State of Minnesota through its Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) for the renovation of Peavey Plaza.

    2. Passage of Resolution establishing Project PVPLAZA for the renovation of Peavey Plaza, and increasing and decreasing the appropriation and revenue in the Downtown Assets Fund and the Capital Projects Fund for the renovation of Peavey Plaza.

Passage of Resolution authorizing submission and priority ranking of grant applications to the Metropolitan Council Transit Oriented Development (LCDA-TOD) grant program for the following developments:  Lake Street Apartments Phase I , 410 W Lake St; Amber Apartments , 4525 Hiawatha Ave; and The Peris Development, 1930 Hennepin Ave S.

    2. Passage of Resolution authorizing submission and priority ranking of grant applications to the Metropolitan Council Livable Communities Demonstration Account (LCDA) grant program for the following developments:  Olson Towne Homes, 461 Girard Ave N; Northgate Training Center, 1200 Plymouth Ave N; and Gateway Northeast, 2435 Marshall Ave NE.

Approving additional funding up to $675,000 from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund's Family Housing Initiative and Contingency Pool for the Hook & Ladder Apartments project located at 2318 Jefferson St NE and 640 24th Ave NE to Hook & Ladder Apartments Limited Partnership, an affiliate of Newport Midwest LLC, or its affiliated entity.

    2. Passage of Resolution authorizing final approval to the issuance of Tax Exempt Multifamily Housing Revenue Entitlement Bonds in an amount not to exceed $15,900,000 for Hook & Ladder Apartments project.
