    1. Approving the following Council appointments for two-year terms, beginning June 1, 2018, and ending May 31, 2020: Emily Smoak, Seat 2, Ward 2; Erica Dani, Seat 4, Ward 4; Aaron Shaffer, Seat 8, Ward 8; Emily Wade, Seat 10, Ward 10; and Elizabeth Johnston, Seat 13, Ward 13.

    2.     1. Passage of a Resolution ordering the work to proceed and adopting special assessments in the amount of $87,801.34 for the 2018 Alley Renovation Program.

    2. Passage of a Resolution requesting the Board of Estimate and Taxation authorize the City to issue and sell assessment bonds in the amount of $87,805 for the 2018 Alley Renovation Program.

  4. 5 34th Ave S (58th St E to East Minnehaha Pkwy) Street Reconstruction Project: Project approval, assessment, and areaway abandonment This link open a new window(2018-00643)
    1. Passage of Resolution ordering the work to proceed and adopting special assessments in the amount of $1,436,233.92 for the 34th Ave S Street Reconstruction Project No. 6753 (CPV087).

    2. Passage of Resolution requesting the Board of Estimate and Taxation authorize the City's issuance and sale of assessment bonds in the amount of $1,436,235 for the project.

    3. Passage of Resolution ordering the abandonment and removal of areaways located in the public right-of-way in conflict with the project.

    1. Authorizing a contract with Alliance for Sustainability, in an amount not to exceed $37,000 per year, for Litter Be Gone™ event management and implementation services for a term of three years, with the option to extend the contract, on an annual basis for two additional years.

  2. 7 Contract with Progressive Rail, Inc. for 61st St W Street Reconstruction Project This link open a new window(2018-00645)
    1. Authorizing a contract with Progressive Rail, Inc., in the amount of $156,600, for the purpose of upgrading the existing railroad crossings at two locations within the 61st St W Street Reconstruction Project No. 2288 (CPV103).

  3. 8 Contract with CHA Consulting, Inc. for railroad crossing geotechnical review on the 61st St W Street Reconstruction Project This link open a new window(2018-00646)
    1. Authorizing a contract with CHA Consulting, Inc., in the amount of $7,500, for review of pre-construction documents and review of the geotechnical monitoring plan for the installation of City storm sewer under Canadian Pacific Rail tracks crossing on 61st St W.

    1. Passage of Resolution authorizing approval of appraised value, offer of compensation, and acquisition by eminent domain for pipeline easement.

  5. 10 Grant applications through the 2018 Metropolitan Council Regional Solicitation Program for federal transportation funds This link open a new window(2018-00649)
    1. Authorizing the submittal of a series of applications for federal transportation funds through the 2018 Metropolitan Council’s Regional Solicitation Program.

    2. Authorizing the commitment of local funds to provide the required local match for the federal funding.

    1. Setting a public hearing for July 10, 2018, to consider the assessment charges that remain unpaid for snow and ice removal from public sidewalks.

  7. 12 Bid for Upton, Vincent, and 51st Ave N Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project This link open a new window(2018-00620)
    1. Accepting the low bid of Veit & Company, Inc., submitted on Official Publication No. 8564, in the amount of $611,072.01, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals for the construction of the Upton, Vincent, and 51st Ave N Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project for the City of Minneapolis Public Works Department, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.

  8. 13 Bid for construction of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) pedestrian ramps This link open a new window(2018-00621)
    1. Accepting the low responsive bid of Concrete Idea, Inc., submitted on Official Publication No. 8505, in the amount of $639,900, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals for the construction of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) pedestrian ramps for the City of Minneapolis Public Works Department, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.

  9. 14 Bid for Girard Ave S Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project This link open a new window(2018-00652)
    1. Accepting the low bid of Meyer Companies, dba Pete's Water & Sewer, submitted on Official Publication No. 8568, in the amount of $330,829.60, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals for the construction of the Girard Ave S Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project for the City of Minneapolis Public Works, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.
