    1. Passage of Resolution ordering the work to proceed and adopting special assessments in the amount of $436,414.64 for the 2018 Concrete Streets Rehabilitation - Waite Park Neighborhood Project No. 2308 (PV108).

    2. Passage of Resolution requesting the Board of Estimate and Taxation authorize the City's issuance and sale of assessment bonds in the amount of $436,415 for the 2018 Concrete Streets Rehabilitation - Waite Park Neighborhood Project.

Adopting report receiving the cost estimate of $1,436,934, directing the preparation of proposed special assessments against the list of benefited properties, and setting a public hearing for July 10, 2018, to consider the project, assessments, and the abandonment and removal of areaways in conflict with the project.

Passage of Resolution directing the Hennepin County Auditor to cancel the special assessment for sewer service line repair improvements for payable 2018 and subsequent years tax files for the property located at 1915 Talmage Ave SE in the amount of $2,940 and directing the Risk Management & Claims Division to issue a refund for assessments collected on 2016 and 2017 property tax statements in the amount of $2,406.

    1. Authorizing an agreement with Minnesota Commercial Railway for the purpose of upgrading the existing railroad crossings at four locations within the Mid-City Industrial Reconstruction Project area at an estimated cost of $196,071.19.

Directing Public Works staff to implement the options recommended for immediate action in the Pedestrian and Bicycle Winter Maintenance Study Supplemental Report on Sidewalk Snow and Ice Removal, and return to the Transportation & Public Works Committee with the feasibility and cost estimates for snow removal from City sidewalks, including possible tiers of implementation, and consideration of business models that would further enhance the City’s goals for a walkable City in winter and taking into account the priority areas identified by the Pedestrian Advisory Committee.  Staff will return to the Transportation & Public Works Committee in Sept 2018 with feasibility and estimates, and in May 2019 to report on implementation of short term items.
