  1. 2 5th St SE Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge: Municipal Consent and maintenance agreement with State of Minnesota This link open a new window(2018-00236)
    1. Passage of Resolution approving the Municipal Consent Layout for the 5th St SE Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge, along I-35W in the Marcy Holmes Neighborhood, replacing the existing structure.

    2. Authorizing a maintenance and utility agreement with the State of Minnesota to define ownership and maintenance roles and responsibilities.

    1. Passage of Resolution ordering the work to proceed and adopting special assessments in the amount of $674,234.32 for the project.

    2. Passage of Resolution requesting the Board of Estimate and Taxation authorize the City’s issuance and sale of assessment bonds in the amount of $674,235 for the project.

    3. Passage of Resolution ordering the abandonment and removal of areaways located in the public right-of-way in conflict with the project.

    2. Passage of Resolution requesting the Board of Estimate and Taxation authorize the City's issuance and sale of assessment bonds in the amount of $1,027,250 for the project.

    3. Passage of Resolution ordering the abandonment and removal of areaways located in the public right-of-way in conflict with the project.

    1. Passage of Resolution ordering the work to proceed and adopting special assessments in the amount of $1,148,583.09 for the 61st St W Street Reconstruction Project No. 2288 (CPV103).

    2. Passage of Resolution requesting the Board of Estimate and Taxation authorize the City’s issuance and sale of assessment bonds in the amount of $1,148,585 for the project.

    3. Passage of Resolution ordering the abandonment and removal of areaways located in the public right-of-way in conflict with the project.

    4. Passage of Resolution increasing the appropriation in the Stormwater Fund by $1,336,000 to be funded by stormwater revenue, for a total stormwater appropriation of $1,591,000.

    1. Passage of Resolution authorizing an agreement with the Commissioner of Transportation prescribing the terms and conditions of federal aid participation as set forth and contained in MnDOT Contract No. 1029973.

    1. Authorizing Menzel Enterprises, Inc. to assume the existing contract for District B/Zone 5 Public Towing services based on their purchase of Rapid Recovery. 

  3. 9 Contract amendment with Barr Engineering for North Region modeling work This link open a new window(2018-00231)
    1. Authorizing an extension to Contract No. C-40218 with Barr Engineering, extending the contract end date to Dec 31, 2020, to continue modeling work in the area that will allow coordination with the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board North Region planning efforts.

  4. 10 Contract amendment with Peoples Electric for additional wiring and LED light fixtures in the ABC parking ramps This link open a new window(2018-00230)
    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. C-42606 with Peoples Electric, in the amount of $32,958, for a total amount not to exceed $2,291,458, for additional wiring and LED light fixtures in all three ABC ramps.

    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. C-38427 with Waste Management, Inc. (WMI), in the amount of $72,000, for a total amount not to exceed $672,000 per year, and extending the contract through April 30, 2020, for continued transfer station operation services.

  6. 12 Contract amendment with Interstate Improvement, Inc. for concrete pavement rehabilitation This link open a new window(2018-00228)
    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. C-42659 with Interstate Improvement, Inc., in the amount of $4,250,000, for a total amount not to exceed $7,000,000, for concrete pavement rehabilitation.

  7. 13 Contract amendment with ZAN Associates for work on the 4th St Reconstruction Project This link open a new window(2018-00227)
    1. Authorizing an amendment to Contract No. C-41777 with ZAN Associates, increasing the amount of the contract by $4,800, for a revised total of $54,800, and extending the contract through April 1, 2018, to include work not included in the original scope of the 4th St Reconstruction Project.

  8. 14 Interagency cooperative agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation for construction of traffic signals This link open a new window(2018-00226)
    1. Authorizing an interagency cooperative agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), in the amount of $750,000, for the 2018 reconstruction of six signalized intersections on State Trunk Highway 47 (University Ave NE) and Trunk Highway 65 (Central Ave).

    1. Passage of Resolution expressing the City's support for projects submitted to the Minnesota Department of Transportation Corridors of Commerce program.

  10. 16 Oak Park Alley Construction Project: Project designation, cost estimate, and setting public hearing This link open a new window(2018-00225)
    1. Passage of Resolution designating the locations and improvements proposed to be made in the Oak Park Alley Construction Project, Special Improvement of Existing Unpaved Alley No. 2298 (CPV063).

    2. Adopting report receiving cost estimate in the amount of $145,157, and directing the preparation of proposed special assessments against the list of benefited properties.

    3. Setting a public hearing for May 1, 2018, to consider the project, assessments, and special improvement of the alley.

  11. 17 Application for Hennepin County Bicycle and Sidewalk Grant Funds This link open a new window(2018-00222)
    1. Passage of Resolution authorizing the submittal of 2018 Hennepin County Bicycle and Sidewalk Grant Applications and the commitment of local funds to support approved projects.

    1. Approving City of Minneapolis Comments on the D Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Draft Station Plan, dated Feb 14, 2018, and directing submittal of the comments to Metro Transit.

  13. 19 Bid for Installation of Large Diameter Cured-In-Place Pipe This link open a new window(2018-00221)
    1. Accepting the low bid of Insituform Technologies USA, LLC, submitted on Official Publication No. 8499, in the amount of $972,501, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals for the installation of large diameter cured-in-place pipe for the City of Minneapolis, Public Works Department, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.

  14. 20 Bid for Fridley Lift Station Improvements This link open a new window(2018-00220)
    1. Accepting the low bid of PCI Roads, LLC, submitted on Official Publication No. 8509, in the amount of $326,889, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals for the construction of the Fridley Lift Station improvements for the City of Minneapolis Public Works Department, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.
