  2. 6 Contract with Toole Design Group for engineering and design services for the 1st Ave S (Franklin Ave to Lake St) Street Reconstruction and Bridge over Greenway Project This link open a new window(2021-01097)
    1. Authorizing a contract with Toole Design Group, in the amount of $1,908,691, for engineering and design services for the 1st Ave S (Franklin Ave to Lake St) Street Reconstruction and Bridge over Greenway Project (PV132).

  3. 7 Contract amendment with FPA, Inc., dba HySafe, for the Skylight Fall Protection Project at the Fridley Water Plant This link open a new window(2021-01099)
    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. COM0002703 with FPA, Inc., dba HySafe, in the amount of $14,195 for a total amount not to exceed $618,873, for additional work performed as part of the Skylight Fall Protection Project at the Fridley Water Plant.

    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. COM0003440 with Thomas and Sons Construction, Inc., in the amount of $202,698.46 for a total amount not to exceed $1,520,000, to complete additional work for the Signals and Pedestrian Improvements Project.

    2. Passage of Resolution authorizing execution of a Limited Use Permit with the Minnesota Department of Transportation for a proposed bike trail segment within the right-of-way of Trunk Highway 55 at Penn Ave N.

    1. Approving the three street layouts associated with the Upper Harbor Terminal (UHT) site on Dowling Ave N, Upper Harbor Terminal Pkwy, and 33rd Ave N.

    2. Authorizing negotiation with private property owners to acquire easements and additional right-of-way, if necessary, for the project.

    1. Accepting a grant from Hennepin County, in the amount of $20,220, to open five new organics recycling drop-off sites in 2021 and 2022.

    2. Authorizing an agreement with Hennepin County for the grant.

    3. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Public Works Department.

  9. 13 George Floyd Global Memorial Block Event Permit: Oct 14, 2021 This link open a new window(2021-01107)
    1. Approving the application submitted by Jeanelle Austin, of the George Floyd Global Memorial, for a large block event permit to allow the birthday celebration of George Floyd to be held Thursday, Oct 14, 2021, on E 38th St between Columbus Ave S and Elliot Ave S, and on Chicago Ave S between E 37th St and E 38th St, and to operate outside the hours permitted under Minneapolis Code of Ordinances, Section 455.35(c)(1).

  10. 14 Bid for Five Revised Signal Systems, Storm Sewer, and Pedestrian Curb Ramp Improvements Project This link open a new window(2021-01108)
    1. Accepting the low bid of Ti-Zack Concrete, Inc., submitted on Event No. 1628, in the amount of $2,988,524.80, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the Five Revised Signal Systems, Storm Sewer, and Pedestrian Curb Ramp Improvements Project, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.
