    1. Passage of Resolution adopting the City of Minneapolis and Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Phase I Permit Stormwater Management Program and Annual Report for 2020 Activities.

    1. Passage of Ordinance amending Title 18, Chapter 478 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Traffic Code: Parking, Stopping and Standing, amending provisions related to parking of overweight vehicles and commercial vehicles.

    1. Passage of Resolution designating the 2021 Alley Renovation Program (PV006), the improvement of six alleys throughout the City of Minneapolis.

    2. Adopting report receiving the cost estimate of $180,000, directing the preparation of proposed special assessments against the list of benefited properties, and setting a public hearing for Aug 11, 2021.

  2. 5 Contract amendment with Thomas & Sons Construction, Inc. for 8th St S Street Reconstruction Project This link open a new window(2021-00706)
    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. COM0000415 with Thomas and Sons Construction, Inc., in the amount of $185,800 for a total amount not to exceed $10,814,990.34, for additional project work and costs associated with unforeseen conditions on the 8th St S Street Reconstruction Project, all in accordance with City specifications.

  3. 6 Contract amendment with Hennepin County for the Minnehaha Ave S Street Reconstruction Project This link open a new window(2021-00707)
    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. C-39212 with Hennepin County, in the amount of $272,361.36 for a total amount not to exceed $4,957,495.76, and an extension through Dec 31, 2021, for additional costs associated with the Minnehaha Ave S Street Reconstruction Project.

  4. 7 Agreement with Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) for landscaping improvements at the Highway 77 and Highway 62 interchange This link open a new window(2021-00708)
    1. Authorizing a cooperative agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), to accept up to $2,500 in funding from the MnDOT Community Roadside Landscaping Partnership Program, for landscaping improvements at the Highway 77 and Highway 62 interchange.

Authorizing an agreement with the Metropolitan Council that permits the City of Minneapolis to reconstruct a portion of the Metropolitan Council-owned stormwater shaft at the intersection of Portland Ave and Washington Ave as part of the Central City Parallel Storm Tunnel Project in accordance with agreed upon plans.

Authorizing an agreement with the Bassett Creek Watershed Management Commission (BCWMC) and the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board (MPRB) for the design of stormwater treatment ponds and associated storm sewer infrastructure at Bryn Mawr Park and the preparation of construction plans and specifications for the project.

    1. Accepting a grant from the National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO), in the amount of $50,000, to support the 18th Ave S and Little Earth Transportation Study.

    2. Authorizing an agreement with the National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO) for the grant.

    3. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Public Works Department.

Approving the application submitted by Mark Rausch of the Minneapolis Downtown Council for a block event permit to allow Skate Day to be held June 24, 2021, on Nicollet Mall between 9th St S and 10th St S, and to operate outside the hours permitted under Minneapolis Code of Ordinances, Section 455.35(c)(1).

  19. 22 Bid for Downtown East Street Reconstruction Project This link open a new window(2021-00723)
    1. Accepting the low bid of Thomas and Sons Construction, Inc., submitted on Event No. 1509, in the amount of $3,865,112, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the Downtown East Street Reconstruction Project, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.
