  1. 2 Agreement with Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway for water main crossing BNSF tracks at Aldrich Ave N This link open a new window(2020-00921)
    1. Authorizing an agreement with Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway for a license and flagging services for a city water main crossing BNSF tracks at Aldrich Ave N.

  2. 3 Agreement with Hennepin County for Girard Ave Street Reconstruction Project This link open a new window(2020-00927)
    1. Authorizing a cooperative agreement with Hennepin County, whereby the City will receive an amount not to exceed $350,000, for work completed as part of the Girard Ave Street Reconstruction Project No. 2301 (CPV147) at the intersection of Lake St W and Lagoon Ave.

    2. Passage of Resolution approving an increase of $350,000 in the appropriation and revenue for the Girard Ave Street Reconstruction Project.

  3. 4 Agreement with City of Columbia Heights for preliminary planning, survey, and design services for the 37th Ave NE Street Reconstruction Project This link open a new window(2020-00929)
    1. Authorizing a cooperative agreement with the City of Columbia Heights, in an estimated amount of $145,210, for preliminary planning, survey, and design services for the 37th Ave NE Street Reconstruction Project.

    2. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Public Works Department.

    1. Authorizing issuance of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the processing and marketing of commingled recyclable materials.

  5. 6 Grant application to Minnesota Department of Transportation for 2020 Minnesota Highway Freight Program federal funds This link open a new window(2020-00931)
    1. Authorizing the submittal of a grant application to the Minnesota Department of Transportation for federal transportation funds through the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s 2020 Minnesota Highway Freight Program.

    2. Authorizing the commitment of local funds to provide the required local match for the federal funding.

    1. Adopting report designating the 2021 citywide street light operation fee assessment against properties exempt from ad valorem taxation, and setting a public hearing for Oct 21, 2020, to consider the assessments.

    1. Adopting report designating the 2021 citywide street maintenance assessment against properties exempt from ad valorem taxation, and setting a public hearing for Oct 21, 2020, to consider the assessments.

  8. 9 Bid for 35W Bridge Memorial Slope Stabilization Project This link open a new window(2020-00934)
    1. Accepting the low bid of Engineering and Construction Innovations, Inc., submitted on Event No. 1153, in the amount of $519,977.50, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the 35W Bridge Memorial Slope Stabilization Project, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.
