Public Hearing

  1. 2 27th Ave NE Street Reconstruction (University Ave to railroad tracks): Project approval, assessment, and areaway abandonment This link open a new window(2019-01126)
    1. Passage of Resolution ordering the work to proceed and adopting special assessments in the amount of $143,991.31 for the 27th Ave NE (University Ave to the railroad tracks) Street Reconstruction Project No. 2328 (CPV075).

    2. Passage of Resolution requesting the Board of Estimate and Taxation authorize the City's issuance and sale of assessment bonds in the amount of $143,995 for the project.

    3. Passage of Resolution ordering the abandonment and removal of areaways located in the public right-of-way in conflict with the project.

    1. Passage of Resolution adopting the assessments, levying the assessments, and adopting the assessment roll for sanitary sewer service availability charges (SAC) on the list of properties on file in the City Engineer's Special Assessment Office.

    1. Passage of Resolution establishing uniform assessment rates for street construction, street renovation, street resurfacing, and alley construction and resurfacing improvements for the 2020 calendar year.

  2. 5 Cooperative agreement with Mississippi Watershed Management Organization for Green Infrastructure and Safe Routes to School improvements at Edison High School This link open a new window(2019-01131)
    1. Authorizing a cooperative agreement with the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization (MWMO), whereby the City will receive an amount not to exceed $128,000, for construction costs related to stormwater quality infrastructure features as part of the Green Infrastructure and Safe Routes to School improvements at Edison High School.

    2. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Public Works Department.

  3. 6 Contract with various suppliers for 2020 - 2023 Public Works Consulting Pool This link open a new window(2019-01130)
    1. Authorizing a master service agreement with each of 66 successful firms responding to the Request for Proposals for the 2020 - 2023 Public Works Consulting Pool.

  4. 7 Temporary construction easement agreement with University of Minnesota for 10th Ave SE River Bridge Project This link open a new window(2019-01128)
    1. Authorizing a temporary construction easement agreement with the University of Minnesota, in an amount not to exceed $27,500, for renovations of the 10th Ave SE River Bridge.

  5. 8 Assignment of contract with Williams Towing, Inc. for Zone 6 public towing services This link open a new window(2019-01127)
    1. Authorizing assignment of Contract No. C-38739 between Williams Towing, Inc. and the City of Minneapolis following the sale of Williams Towing, Inc. to John Hosek, to allow for continuation of towing services in Zone 6 through the current term of the contract ending June 30, 2020.

  6. 9 Bid for Ramp A Waterproofing and Structural Repairs 2019 Project This link open a new window(2019-01100)
    1. Accepting the second low bid of Cy-Con, Inc., submitted on Event No. 401, in the amount of $257,500, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the Ramp A Waterproofing and Structural Repairs 2019 Project, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.

  7. 10 Bid for 11th and Marquette Area Skyway Carpet Replacement Project This link open a new window(2019-01101)
    1. Accepting the low bid of St. Paul Linoleum and Carpet Company, submitted on Event No. 537, in the amount of $178,224.11, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the 11th and Marquette Area Skyway Carpet Replacement Project, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.

  8. 11 Bid for 20-inch drain line vaults for the Columbia Heights Filter Plant This link open a new window(2019-01133)
    1. Accepting the low bid of PCI Roads, LLC, submitted on Event No. 462, in the amount of $350,000, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for 20-Inch drain line vaults for the Columbia Heights Filter Plant, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.
