    1. Considering the Mayor's nomination of Margaret Anderson Kelliher to the appointed position of Director of Public Works for a four-year term beginning January 3, 2022.

  1. 3 Contract with Hennepin County for waste disposal services This link open a new window(2022-00065)
    1. Authorizing a contract with Hennepin County, in the estimated amount of $12,254,000, for the processing and disposal of municipal solid wastes collected in Minneapolis from Jan 1, 2022, through Dec 31, 2023, by the Public Works Divisions of Solid Waste and Recycling and Transportation Maintenance and Repair, at a rate of $66 per ton for the first year, and $69 per ton for the second year.

  2. 4 Contract with Gray Matter Systems LLC for GE Digital Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system software license and support for the Water Treatment & Distribution Division This link open a new window(2022-00066)
    1. Authorizing a contract with Gray Matter Systems LLC, in the amount of $250,000, for a three-year period with the option to extend for two additional one-year periods, for GE Digital Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system software license and support for the Water Treatment & Distribution Division.

  3. 5 Agreement with Xcel Energy for electrical feeder replacement This link open a new window(2022-00067)
    1. Authorizing an agreement with Xcel Energy, in the amount of $128,110.40, to furnish and install a replacement electrical feeder serving the City’s water treatment campus in Fridley.

  4. 6 Contract amendment with All Phase Construction, Inc. for additional catch basin and manhole repair This link open a new window(2022-00068)
    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. COM0003766, with All Phase Construction, Inc., in the amount of $71,445 for a total amount not to exceed $1,247,243, for catch basin and manhole repair.

  5. 7 Luella Anderson Neighborhood Project, Phase II : Project designation, cost estimate, and setting public hearing This link open a new window(2022-00079)
    1. Passage of Resolution designating the location and improvements of certain existing streets in Phase II of the Luella Anderson Neighborhood Project, Special Improvement of Existing Street No. 2330 (PV131).

    2. Adopting report receiving cost estimate in the amount of $2,667,717, directing the preparation of proposed special assessments against the list of benefited properties, and setting a public hearing for Mar 17, 2022, to consider the project, assessments, and the abandonment and removal of areaways in conflict with the project.
