    1. Passage of Resolution designating the location and improvements proposed for the 2022 Street Resurfacing Program, Special Improvement of Existing Street No. 2343 (CPV2256).

    2. Adopting report receiving the cost estimate of $5,695,463, directing the preparation of proposed special assessments against the list of benefited properties, and setting public hearings as follows:

      1. March 3, 2022, for 58th St E
      2. March 3, 2022, for 60th St W, Sunrise Dr, and 58th St. W
      3. March 3, 2022, for Corcoran Residential
      4. March 17, 2022, for Dight/Standish Residential
      5. March 17, 2022, for Legion Lake Residential
      6. March 31, 2022, for South Minnehaha Residential.
  2. 3 Contract amendment with Emerge Enterprises for mattress collection and recycling services This link open a new window(2022-00031)
    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. C-42689 with Emerge Enterprises, in the amount of $1,153,391 for a total amount not to exceed $5,858,967, and an extension through Aug 31, 2023, for mattress collection and recycling services.

  3. 4 Contract amendment with S.M. Hentges & Sons, Inc. for the Johnson St NE (Lowry Ave NE to 18th Ave NE) Street Reconstruction Project This link open a new window(2022-00032)
    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. COM0003433 with S.M. Hentges & Sons, Inc., in the amount of $29,146.23 for a total amount not to exceed $3,508,275.58, for additional work required to complete the Johnson St NE (Lowry Ave NE to 18th Ave NE) Street Reconstruction Project No. 2326 (PV156), all in accordance with City specifications.

  4. 5 Contract amendment with Safety Signs LLC for rental of additional traffic control devices This link open a new window(2022-00034)
    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. C-44480 with Safety Signs LLC, in the amount of $779,717 for a total amount not to exceed $4,819,547, for the rental of additional traffic control devices.

  5. 6 Contract amendment with Michels Corporation for cleaning and lining of water mains This link open a new window(2022-00035)
    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. COM0003742 with Michels Corporation, in the amount of $24,956.65 for a total amount not to exceed $2,344,456.65, for additional quantities and extra material for the cleaning and lining of water mains.

  6. 7 Bid for CIPP (Cured In Place Pipe) materials This link open a new window(2022-00037)
    1. Accepting the sole bid of JWM Environmental, submitted on Event No. 1796, in the amount of $947,843.22, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for CIPP (Cured In Place Pipe) lining materials, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.

  7. 8 Bids for city-wide light duty collision and mechanical repair This link open a new window(2022-00041)
    1. Accepting the bid of Auto Truck Service Co. Inc., submitted on Event No. 1757, in the annual amount of $800,000, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for city-wide collision and mechanical repair of sedans, vans, SUVs, and light trucks, and authorizing a three-year contract for the service with the option to extend for two additional 12-month periods, all in accordance with City specifications.

    2. Accepting the bid of Bona Companies Inc., submitted on Event No. 1757, in the annual amount of $100,000, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for city-wide collision and mechanical repair of sedans, vans, SUVs, and light trucks, and authorizing a three-year contract for the service with the option to extend for two additional 12-month periods, all in accordance with City specifications.

  8. 9 Bid for hydraulic hose and fittings This link open a new window(2022-00039)
    1. Accepting the sole bid of Quest Engineering, submitted on Event No. 1789, in the amount of $957.32 for an annual contract value of $500,000, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for hydraulic hose and fittings, and authorizing a contract for the project, with the option to extend the contract for up to three additional 12-month periods if agreeable to both parties, all in accordance with City specifications.

    1. Referring to staff the subject matter of an ordinance amending Title 18, Chapter 478 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Traffic Code: Parking, Stopping & Standing, regarding traffic zones.

  10. 11 Appointment of Director of Public Works This link open a new window(2022-00042)
    1. Setting a public hearing for Feb 3, 2022, to consider the Mayor's nomination of Margaret Anderson Kelliher to the appointed position of Director of Public Works for a four-year term beginning Jan 3, 2022.
