Authorizing a contract for $534,000 with SMG for the City of Minneapolis to provide up to eight (8) Minneapolis Police Department Bomb Unit technicians and up to eight (8) Minneapolis Police Officer K-9 handlers for bomb detection security services, and two (2) dispatchers from Minneapolis 911 for public safety dispatching of law enforcement personnel within and immediately outside US Bank Stadium for up to twenty-five (25) large scale events from Apr 1, 2019 - Mar 31, 2020

    1. Authorizing a contract with SMG for $285,000 for the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) to provide up to fifteen (15) SWAT officers for extra security and a tactical response for up to twenty-five (25) US Bank Stadium large scale events from Apr 1, 2019 - Mar 31, 2020

  3. 5 Contract with the University of Minnesota for Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) bomb detection at TCF Stadium for football, soccer, and homecoming events during 2019 This link open a new window(2019-00235)

Authorizing a contract for $40,000 with the University of Minnesota for the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) to provide a minimum of two (2) Bomb Unit technicians and a minimum of two (2) Police Officer K-9 handlers, for bomb detection security services at TCF Stadium for up to twelve (12) football, soccer, and homecoming events from Mar 1, 2019 - Dec 31, 2019.

Passage of Resolution accepting a donation from the National Network for Safe Communities at John Jay College for the travel-related expenses of seven (7) Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) sworn and civilian employees to attend the National Initiative 2019 Pilot Site Convening Meeting from Feb 26 - 28, 2019 in New York City, NY.

  5. 7 Contract with Twins Ballpark, LLC for bomb detection at Target Field for up to thirty (30) large scale events This link open a new window(2019-00237)
    1. Authorizing a contract with Twins Ballpark, LLC, for up to $28,038, for the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) to provide two (2) Bomb Unit technicians and one (1) Police Officer K-9 handler, for bomb detection security services at Target Field for up to thirty (30) large scale events during 2019.
