  1. 3 Contract with Blue Pictures, LLC, to film Minneapolis Police Department women in law enforcement This link open a new window(2018-01450)
    1. Authorizing the Minneapolis Police Department to enter into a location and access agreement with Blue Pictures, LLC, to film a documentary motion picture following the work and lives of a select group of women in law enforcement tentatively entitled “Women in Blue," and upon prior notice to the Department, this agreement allows Blue Pictures, LLC to enter and access Department property and facilities with the right to film, videotape, photograph, reproduce, and otherwise record activities that take place in connection with Police.

  2. 4 2018 Emergency Management Performance Grant This link open a new window(2018-01451)
    1. Accepting the 2018 Emergency Management Performance Grant award in the amount of $30,000 for the purpose of providing federal funds to states to assist state, local, territorial and tribal governments in preparing for all hazards incidents.

    2. Passage of resolution appropriating funds to the Emergency Management Department.

  3. 5 2018 Urban Area Security Initiative Grant from the Department of Homeland Security This link open a new window(2018-01452)
    1. Accepting the 2018 Urban Area Security Initiative Grant from the Department of Homeland Security in the amount of $900,000 for the purpose of addressing the unique risk-driven and capabilities-based planning, organization, equipment, training. and exercise needs of high-threat, high density urban areas.

    2. Passage of Resolution appropriating funds to the Emergency Management Department. 
  4. 6 Agreement with the State of Minnesota, Office of State Court Administration for Court Data Services This link open a new window(2018-01453)
    1. Authorizing the Minneapolis Police Department to enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota, Office of State Court Administration, for authorized access to Court Data Services and Court Records through Minnesota Government Access (MGA), a web-based tool that is replacing Odyssey Assistant as the new Court Records system. 

    2. Passage of Resolution authorizing the Minneapolis Chief of Police to bind the City of Minneapolis to the Master Subscriber Agreement for Minnesota Court Data Services for Governmental Agencies

  5. 7 Contract with Downtown Improvement District (DID) policing during Holidazzzle This link open a new window(2018-01454)
    1. Authorizing an extention to Contract No. C-43706 with the Downtown Improvement District (DID) through Dec 31, 2018, for Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) policing in downtown Minneapolis during Holidazzle events. 

  6. 8 Contract with Horseman, Inc. for mounted patrol boarding services This link open a new window(2018-01455)
    1. Authorizing a contract with Horsemen, Inc. in a total amount of $534,560 over five (5) years for boarding services for Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) mounted patrol horses.

      1. Approving the following Council appointments for 2-year terms, beginning Jan 1, 2019, and ending Dec 31, 2020: Lacy Schumacher, Seat 1, Ward 1; Afsheen Foroozan, Seat 2, Ward 3; and Caitlin Gokey, Seat 8, Ward 10.
      2. Confirming the following Mayoral reappointment for a 2-year term, beginning Jan 1, 2019, and ending Dec 31, 2020Jeffrey Wade, Seat 5, Ward 13.

    1. Passage of Ordinance amending Title 9, Chapter 173 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Fire and Police Protection: Fire, amending provisions related to powers and duties of the Fire Chief and authorized department activities.

    1. Receiving and filing a report about the Minneapolis Police Department's (MPD) Co-Responder Program with Hennepin County to discuss the purpose, resources, goals, and answer questions.

    1. Receiving and filing a presentation on who may access Minneapolis police body camera data and in what circumstances, including an overview of the governing law, related Minneapolis Police Department policy and procedures, and the technology (cameras and review software) utilized at the City.
