Consent

  1. 2 Cooperative agreement between the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) and other law enforcement agencies for law enforcement services for the 2019 Final Four events This link open a new window(2018-01154)
    1. Authorizing the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) to enter into an agreement with other law enforcement agencies for the purpose of providing law enforcement officers to meet the public safety needs during the 2019 Final Four events from Apr 1 – 9, 2019, and to establish the reimbursement rates and related terms for these services, which will be reimbursed by the 2019 Final Four host committee, Minnesota Local Organizing Committee (MLOC).

    1. Passage of Resolution adopting the Hennepin County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan, which focuses on identifying major hazards, assesses the county's vulnerability to these hazards, and aims to reduce risk using a variety of data and best practice measures to implement mitigation projects.

  3. 4 Grant from the State of Minnesota, Fourth Judicial District Court for police liaison and DWI defendant monitoring services This link open a new window(2018-01153)
    1. Accepting the grant award from DWI Court - the State of Minnesota, Fourth Judicial District Court, in the amount of $53,900, for a police liaison and DWI defendant monitoring services for a period of one year.

  4. 5 Grant from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety for traffic enforcement This link open a new window(2018-01156)
      1. Accepting a grant from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety, in the amount of $285,490, for the continuation of the Toward Zero Deaths traffic enforcement Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) partnership program for the year of Oct 1, 2018 - Sep 30, 2019.
      2. Authorizing an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
      3. Entering into agreements to share the awarded funds with the Minneapolis Park Police and the police departments of Crystal, Golden Valley, New Hope, Robbinsdale, and the University of Minnesota. in amounts to be determined.

    1. Receiving and filing a report from the Minneapolis Fire Department (MFD) on a Mobile Integrated Healthcare project with Hennepin County Emergency Medical Services (EMS). 

  3. 8 Office of Police Conduct Review annual report This link open a new window(2018-01152)
    1. Receiving and filing the Office of Police Conduct Review's (OPCR) annual report, covering the the time period of the fourth quarter of 2017 through the third quarter of 2018.
