  1. 2 Gift Acceptance from the Annie E. Casey Foundation for travel related expenses to the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative Deep End Inter-Site Conference This link open a new window(2018-00810)
    1. Passage of Resolution accepting the donation of travel related expenses from the Annie E. Casey Foundation for Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo to attend the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI) Deep End Inter-Site Conference in St. Louis, MO, from Sep. 5-7, 2018.

  2. 3 Contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves for bomb detection at the Target Center This link open a new window(2018-00812)
    1. Authorizing a revenue agreement for up to $100,000 with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) to provide two (2) Bomb Unit technicians and one (1) Police Officer K-9 handler, for bomb detection security services at Target Center during approximately fifty-five (55) large scale events.

  3. 4 Contract with Tetra Tech, Inc. to provide comprehensive Emergency Operations Center exercise planning and development This link open a new window(2018-00892)
    1. Authorizing a contract with Tetra Tech, Inc. in an amount not-to-exceed $96,026.59, for the period ending June 1, 2019, to provide a comprehensive Emergency Operations Center exercise design and implementation plan, as well after-action review development services.

  4. 5 Revenue agreement with SMG to provide Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) vehicles for MPD officers to utilize during large scale events This link open a new window(2018-00893)
    1. Authorizing a revenue agreement for up to $75,000 with SMG for the City of Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) to provide law enforcement equipment for MPD officers

      in the neighborhoods adjacent to US Bank Stadium for up to twenty-five (25) large scale events from July 1, 2018 - June 30, 2019.

  5. 6 Contract with Minneapolis Public Housing Authority for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program This link open a new window(2018-00894)
    1. Authorizing a revenue agreement with the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority (MPHA) in an amount not-to-exceed $54,412.50, for a Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) sergeant to participate in the federally funded "Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program" (the "Section 8 Program") administered by the MPHA from July 4, 2018 - July 3, 2019.

    1. Receiving and filing a report about our planned implementation of the Handgun Purchase Program for new Police Officer hires, including information about the purpose behind the change, the process for implementing the program, a cost analysis, and policy updates related to this change.

    1. Receiving and filing the final report on Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) involvement in pre-hospital sedation.
