    1. Considering the re-appointment by the Executive Committee of Barret Lane to the appointed position of Director of Emergency Management for a two (2) year term beginning Jan. 1, 2018.

  1. 3 Contract Amendment with Minnesota Homeland Security and Emergency Management for bomb disposal units This link open a new window(2018-00312)
    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract C-40510 with Minnesota Homeland Security and Emergency Management in the amount of $12,500, for a total amount not to exceed $89,500, for additional costs by the Minneapolis Police Bomb Disposal Unit.

    2. Passage of Resolution appropriating funds to the Police Department. 

  2. 4 Contract with the University of Minnesota for Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) bomb detection at TCF Stadium for football, soccer and homecoming events This link open a new window(2018-00313)
    1. Authorizing a revenue agreement for up to $85,000 with the University of Minnesota for the City of Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) to provide a minimum of two (2) Bomb Unit technicians and a minimum of two (2) Police Officer K-9 handlers, for bomb detection security services at TCF Stadium for approximately twenty five (25) football, soccer, and homecoming events during 2018.

    1. Receiving and filing an update on the planned rollout of the Narcan/Naloxone Pilot Program of the Minneapolis Police Department.
