Consent

  1. 2 Contract with Hennepin Technical College for training of police cadets This link open a new window(2018-00170)
    1. Authorizing a contract with Hennepin Technical College in the amount of (up to) $260,000 for the training of (up to) 32 police cadets in the Spring of 2018.

  2. 3 Contract with Hennepin Healthcare System to be the sole provider of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) training programs This link open a new window(2018-00171)
    1. Approving waiver of the RFP process to enter into a contract with Hennepin Healthcare System. 

    2. Authorizing a contract with Hennepin Healthcare System for a period of three (3) years with the option to extend on an annual basis for two (2) additional years as a sole source provider for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) training programs.

    3. Approving an increase to contract No. C-34046 in the amount of $110,012 for a new not-to-exceed total of $693,062  for payment of outstanding invoices for current EMS training services, and extending the contract to April 30, 2018.

    1. Passage of Resolution accepting the gift of exercise equipment from Anytime Fitness for the Minneapolis Fire Department.

    1. Approving the Minneapolis Police Department's (MPD) recommended metrics and deadlines for quarterly reporting beginning in Quarter 2 of 2018 (reporting on Quarter 1).

    2. Receiving and filing a report from the Minneapolis Police Department regarding operation of body worn cameras, information on the findings outlined in the Minneapolis Police Department Mobile and Body Worn Video Recording Equipment Programs Audit Report, and on supervisor reviews of body worn camera footage,

    1. Receiving and filing the Internal Audit Department’s progress report on its work with the Minneapolis Police Department to address issues raised by the audit of the Body-Worn Camera program.
