  1. 2 Contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves for bomb detection at Target Center This link open a new window(2017-01354)
    1. Authorizing a revenue agreement for approximately $95,000 with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the City of Minneapolis Police department to provide two (2) Bomb Unit technicians and one (1) Police Officer K-9 handler, for bomb detection security services at Target Center for approximately fifty five (55) large scale events.

    1. Setting a public hearing for Nov 29, 2017, to consider an ordinance amending Title 15, Chapter 385 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Offenses--Miscellaneous: In General, adding a new Section 385.40 restricting takeoffs and landings of unmanned aircraft for special events.

Setting a public hearing for Nov. 29, 2017, to consider an ordinance amending Title 9, Chapter 172 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Fire and Police Protection:  Police Conduct Oversight, clarifying the working relationship between civilian oversight, the Police Department, and city government.
