Passage of Ordinance amending Title 2, Chapter 20 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Administration: Personnel, approving a 5.3% market-based increase to the salary schedule for the position of Assistant City Coordinator - Finance, with a salary range of $171,389 to $199,262, in accordance with the adopted compensation plan for appointed officials effective Nov 8, 2021.

    2. Approving a pay increase for the Assistant City Coordinator - Finance to remain at Step 4 of the politically appointed (CAP) salary schedule.

  4. 5 Air rights temporary easement agreement for construction crane over Fire Station No. 22 This link open a new window(2021-01176)
    1. Authorizing an air rights temporary easement agreement with Frana Companies, Inc., allowing a construction crane to swing over Fire Station No. 22 property to assist in the construction of a 73-unit multifamily rental housing project on the neighboring site at 3012 Excelsior Blvd, Minneapolis.

  5. 6 Contracts with Access Resource LLC and Veritext Corporation, dba Vertitext Court Reporting & Captioning Minneapolis, for in-person real time video captioning services This link open a new window(2021-01177)
    1. Authorizing the following contracts, in a total amount not to exceed $775,000 for two years, with the option to extend the contracts for an additional one year and six months, to provide in-person real time video captioning services:

      1. Access Resource LLC, in the amount of $600,000.
      2. Veritext Corporation, doing business as Vertitext Court Reporting & Captioning Minneapolis, in the amount of $175,000.

    1. Passage of Resolution amending the 2021 General Appropriation Resolution by increasing the following project/program allocations in Schedule 4:

      1. Restoring the following CDBG capital/other projects to their original 2021 Schedule 4 (Dec 2020) listed appropriation amounts: High Density Corridor Initiative by $90,500 to $494,109; NEDF/CEDF (Great Streets) by $2,028 to $93,654; Home Ownership Support & Development by $4,200 to $195,228; and Vacant and Boarded Building Program by $32,000 to $1,488,163.
      2. Restoring the following CDBG capital/other project Adult Training, Placement and Retention to its original 2021 Schedule 4 (Dec 2020) listed amount of $1,361,948 and increasing project appropriation by $6,049 for a new line item amount of $1,367,997 (METP).
