  1. 2 Memorandum of Understanding with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) for support from the Bloomberg American Cities Climate Challenge This link open a new window(2021-00971)

Authorizing an extension to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), which will set the expectations and understanding of the support the City of Minneapolis will receive through the Bloomberg American Cities Climate Challenge through July 1, 2022.

    1. Accepting a grant from AmeriCorps, in the amount of $25,000, for a one-year program for a cohort of up to ten AmeriCorps VISTAs and additional administrative support for the North Minneapolis Promise Zone.

    2. Authorizing an agreement with AmeriCorps for the grant.

    3. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the City Coordinator's Office.

    1. Authorizing issuance of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a consulting pool for the Minneapolis Convention Center and Target Center for Jan 1, 2022, through Dec 31, 2024.

  4. 5 Agreement with Sundial Solar for purchase of renewable electricity This link open a new window(2021-00917)
    1. Authorizing an agreement with Sundial Solar for the annual purchase of 5.1 million kWh of renewable electricity generated from Sundial Solar-owned solar arrays placed on roofs of City-owned facilities.

  5. 6 Contract with Deloitte Consulting LLP for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) consulting services This link open a new window(2021-00974)
    1. Authorizing the customization of the terms and conditions of the contract with Deloitte Consulting LLP for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) consulting services to reflect the following material negotiated changes: 

      1. A liability cap of $2 million, and $20 million for data practices-related claims; and
      2. A mutual defense and indemnification clause limited to bodily injury and physical property damage.
  6. 7 Contract with Johnson Controls for security monitoring services This link open a new window(2021-00964)
    1. Authorizing the customization of the terms and conditions of the contract with Johnson Controls for security and/or fire monitoring and installation services to reflect the following material negotiated changes:

      1. A liability cap of up to ten times the contract value;
      2. A disclaimer of all warranties; and
      3. The vendor will indemnify the City for installation but not for monitoring work.
  7. 8 Contract amendment with Smart Data Solutions, Inc. (SDS) for scanning, record labeling, and data transfer services This link open a new window(2021-00963)
    1. Authorizing an extension to Contract No. C-37324 with Smart Data Solutions, Inc. (SDS) for an additional six months, through Feb 28, 2022, with options to extend on a month-to-month basis thereafter for an additional three months, for scanning, record labeling, and data transfer services for the City’s Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS).

    1. Authorizing an amendment to Contract No. C-44233 with Hillcrest Development, for a total amount not to exceed $229,320, for Public Works parking at 900 6th Ave SE, for an additional term of one year, with two one-year extension options.

  9. 10 Contract amendment with Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle Ltd., for architect and engineer of record services for Public Service Building Project This link open a new window(2021-00966)
    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. C-43204 with Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle Ltd (MSR Design), in the amount of $81,950 for a total amount not to exceed $11,794,475.33, for architect and engineer of record for design services for the Public Service Building Project.

    1. Authorizing a contract with Gries Lenhardt Allen, PLLP, in an amount not to exceed $1,800,000, to provide Workers' Compensation legal services for a three-year term from Sept 15, 2021, through Sept 14, 2024, with the option to extend for two additional one-year terms.
