    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. COM0001069 with MA Mortenson Company, in the amount of $67,319 for a total amount not to exceed $6,756,531, for increased carpentry and casework installation for the Public Service Building Project.

Authorizing a ninety-eight (98) month lease agreement with HBC Acquisitions LLC in the amount of $34,735.50 yearly (plus 3.0% annual increases), and annual costs of approximately $12,000 its pro-rata share of real estate taxes, insurance and common area maintenance costs for the building to rent the property located at 1045 10th Avenue SE for a mail sorting facility for Elections and Voter Services.

    1. Considering the adequacy of the Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for the proposed Hiawatha Maintenance Facility Expansion located at 1911 E 26th St, 1860 E 28th St and 2717 Longfellow Ave.

    2. Considering the determination that an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is not required.

    3. Considering the Findings of Fact as prepared by the Department of Community Planning & Economic Development.

Considering amendments to Resolution 2021R-209 entitled "Adopting title and ballot language pertaining to a proposed amendment to the Minneapolis City Charter relating to the removal of the Police Department and the creation of a new Department of Public Safety, to be submitted to the qualified voters of the City of Minneapolis at the Municipal General Election on November 2, 2021," passed July 23, 2021.

Considering amendments to Resolution 2021R-243 entitled “Adopting title and ballot language pertaining to a proposed amendment to the Minneapolis City Charter relating to the modification of the City’s governmental structure to be a legislative council and an executive mayoral structure, to be submitted to the qualified voters of the City of Minneapolis at the Municipal General Election on November 2, 2021,” passed August 13, 2021.

  1. 14 Hiawatha Maintenance Facility Campus Expansion This link open a new window(2021-00461)
    1. Directing staff from Finance & Property Services, Public Works, Community Planning & Economic Development, and the Office of Sustainability – in alignment with the City’s Southside Green Zone policy, the City’s resolution declaring racism a public health emergency, and the City’s resolution establishing a truth and reconciliation process – to:

      1. Implement Option C-2 to improve the existing Hiawatha Maintenance Facility located at 1901 26th Street East, including construction of the office addition, shop bays, modified parking structure, and suspend all aspects of the City’s work to expand the Hiawatha Maintenance Facility at 1860 28th Street East and 2717 Longfellow Avenue South.
      2. Provide a report of the one-time versus annual activities and costs of maintaining the City owned properties located at 1860 28th Street East and 2717 Longfellow Avenue South. The report shall be presented at the next Policy & Government Oversight Committee on September 9, 2021, to be considered for fiduciary action.
