    1. Passage of Resolution amending Resolution 2021R-331 entitled “Amending The 2021 General Appropriation Resolution,” passed Nov. 5, 2021, by updating the funding and revenue code. 

  2. 3 Minnesota Department of Health Workforce Development Grant This link open a new window(2022-00045)
    1. Accepting a grant from the Minnesota Department of Health in the amount of $237,000 for COVID-19 related Workforce Development for the period Nov. 15, 2021 - June 30, 2024.

    2. Authorizing an agreement with the State of Minnesota for the grant.

    3. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Health Department.

    1. Authorizing a buyback contract with Minneapolis Safety Initiative in the amount of $210,000 for law enforcement patrol services from Jan 17, 2022 - Dec 31, 2022.

    1. Authorizing the submittal of a grant application to Bloomberg Philanthropies in an amount not to exceed $400,000 over a two-year period, to implement a local biochar production program.

Accepting a grant from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), in the amount of $3,859,063, to work in partnership with MDH to address the areas of public health responsibility and essential public health services (Local Public Health) for the period of January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022.

Accepting a grant from the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in the not to exceed amount of $20,000, to evaluate the program and help identify strategies to improve implementation of the new blood lead reference values issues by the CDC for the period January 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022.

    2. Authorizing an agreement with NACCHO for the grant funds.

    3. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Health Department.

    1. Authorizing a Master Contract with Parents in Community Action, Inc. as an eligible provider, in the not to exceed (NTE) amounts listed, for the period of Jan 1, 2021, to Dec 31, 2025.

    2. Authorizing staff to issue Fund Availability Notices when project funds become available as long as the total amount of the Master Contract is not exceeded.

    1. Authorizing an increase to contract COM0003963 with League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust (LMCIT), in the amount of $70,000 for a total amount not to exceed $130,000 and an extension through Dec 31, 2022 for PATROL subscriptions, a Peace officer Accredited Training Online subscription.

  11. 12 U.S. Department of Justice grant to implement a comprehensive program to respond to opioid abuse This link open a new window(2022-00051)
    1. Accepting a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), in the amount of $1,200,000, to develop, implement, or expand comprehensive programs in response to illicit opioids, stimulants, or other substances of abuse.

    2. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Fire Department.
