  1. 2 Gift acceptance from the Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce for services from Dr. Matt Bostrom This link open a new window(2021-00841)
    1. Authorizing Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with Matt Bostrom for research, development, and implementation of shared community values for policing and officers.    

    2. Passage of Resolution accepting donation from the Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce for services performed by Matt Bostrom, President of the Center for Values-Based Initiatives, to research, develop, and implement shared community values for policing and police officers, valued at $250,000. 

  2. 3 Grant application to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for corrective healthy home activities This link open a new window(2021-00945)
    1. Authorizing a grant application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), in the amount of $2,000,000, for a 3.5 year period from Jan 1, 2022 through Jun 30, 2025, to correct housing based health hazards in Minneapolis residential units for income qualified properties hazards.

  3. 4 Minnesota Department of Health grant amendment to support Maternal Child Health efforts This link open a new window(2021-00946)
    1. Accepting a grant amendment, through the City Council as the Community Health Board, from the Minnesota Department of Health, in the amount of $847,956, for the period of October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022, to support Title V Maternal Child Health Block Grant activities.

    2. Authorizing an amended agreement with the Minnesota Department of Health for the additional grant funds.

  4. 5 Contracts with neighborhood organizations qualifying for the Neighborhoods 2020 Shared Resources and Collaborations fund This link open a new window(2021-00949)
    1. Authorizing a contract with Stevens Square Community Organization, in the amount of $15,000, for providing administrative support and oversight of Stevens Square Community Organization and the Phillips West Neighborhood Organization. 

    2. Authorizing a contract with Lyndale Neighborhood Association, in the amount of $15,000, for providing a shared resource staff member with Kingfield neighborhood.
