Consent

  1. 2 Washburn Center for Children grant for mental health services This link open a new window(2018-00889)
    1. Amending Council Action 2018A-0588 to reflect an updated grant dollar amount from Washburn Center for Children, for an amount up to $300,000 ($58,313.88 for years 1 to 3, with option to extend for 2 additional 1-year periods), to address youth mental health needs at the Health Department's School Based Clinics.

    2. Authorizing a revised agreement with Washburn Center for Children for the grant allowing for 2 successive 1-year extensions and increased grant funding upon mutual agreement of the parties.

    3. Passage of Resolution amending Resolution 2018R-254 updating the dollar amount of the appropriated grant funds to the Health Department.

  2. 3 Grant from the Minnesota Department of Human Services for clinician training This link open a new window(2018-00990)
    1. Accepting a grant from the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS), in the amount of $50,135, for School Based Clinic clinician training during the fall of 2018.

    2. Authorizing an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Human Services for the grant.

    3. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Health Department.

  3. 4 Site agreement with AmeriCorps to host Minnesota Opioid Response Corps member This link open a new window(2018-01014)
    1. Authorizing a site agreement with AmeriCorps to host, for one year, a Minnesota Opioid Response Corps member to work on designing and framing the work of the Minneapolis Health Department in collaboration with the Mayor’s Task Force on the opioid epidemic.

    1. Authorizing the Sustainability Manager and/or the City Attorney, on behalf of the City, to join in any state or national coalitions of government entities to defend the 2016 Clean Car Standards.

    1. Receiving and filing a presentation by the Minneapolis Health Department on the various programs and partnerships that promote safe and healthy sexuality among youth and young adults in Minneapolis.

    1. Receiving and filing a presentation on the Minneapolis Environmental Education initiative in the advancement of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education, specifically, Environmental Studies, with the support of community members, agencies, and businesses.
