    1. Setting a public hearing for May 14, 2018, to consider the reappointment by the Executive Committee of Gretchen Musicant to the appointed position of Commissioner of Health/Director of Health Department for a two-year term beginning Jan 2, 2018.

  2. 3 Grant from Minnesota Department of Human Services for tobacco compliance checks This link open a new window(2018-00488)
    1. Accepting a grant from the Minnesota Department of Human Services, in the amount of $5,000, to conduct educational tobacco compliance checks with retailers.

    2. Authorizing an agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Human Services for the grant.

    3. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Health Department.

    1. Accepting a grant from the Minnesota Department of Health, for an amount not to exceed $1,102,814 over a four and one half  year period, to provide evidence-based home visiting to low income pregnant women who are at risk for adverse health or birth outcomes and fatherhood advocacy training and case management.

    1. Authorizing an agreement between the City of Minneapolis through its Health Department and Hennepin County, on behalf of its Human Services and Public Health Department, for a merged Limited Dataset in accordance with the signed Data Use Agreements between the City and Hennepin County.

  5. 6 Cost-Sharing Agreement for expansion of Green Initiatives Cost-Share Program and agreement template modifications This link open a new window(2018-00493)
    1. Authorizing an expansion of the Green Business Cost Sharing Program into the Green Initiatives Cost Sharing Program.

    2. Authorizing modifications to the Cost-Share Funding Agreement template for the Green Initiatives Cost Sharing Program (formerly Green Business Cost Sharing Program) to reflect the program expansion in the agreements as approved by the City Attorney's Office.

    1. Approving an amendment to Council Action No. 2018A-0206, passed Mar 23, 2018, increasing contracts with various organizations for the provision of services for victims of domestic violence, to correct the contract number associated with The Bridge for Youth by removing Contract No. C-38470 and replacing it with the correct Contract No. C-42164.

  7. 8 2018 Urban Scholars program funding from partner organizations This link open a new window(2018-00507)
    1. Accepting reimbursement dollars, for an amount up to $88,000, from Urban Scholars partner organizations (The Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board, the State of Minnesota, Hennepin County, Greater Twin Cities United Way, Minnesota Fourth Judicial District, and Metropolitan Airports Commission) to cover professional services for Urban Scholars programming for the period of May 21, 2018, to Aug 17, 2018.

    2. Passage of resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Civil Rights Department.
