    1. Considering the reappointment by the Executive Committee of Velma Korbel to the appointed position of Director of Civil Rights for a two-year term beginning Jan 2, 2020.

    1. Considering the reappointment by the Executive Committee of Gretchen Musicant to the appointed position of Commissioner of Health/Director of Health Department for a two-year term beginning Jan 2, 2020.

  1. 4 Memorandum of Understanding with the United States Fund for UNICEF, dba UNICEF USA, for the Child Friendly Cities (CFCI) Initiative This link open a new window(2020-00163)
    1. Authorizing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the UNICEF USA to support the UNICEF's Child Friendly Cities Initiative. The first cycle of CFCI recognition is five-years from signing the MOU.

  2. 5 Critical incident response workgroup This link open a new window(2020-00160)
    1. Directing the Office of Violence Prevention to convene and lead a workgroup tasked with developing a proposed community-centered plan to respond to critical incidents of violence in the City of Minneapolis.

  1. 6 Minneapolis Youth Coordinating Board's Youth Master Plan This link open a new window(2020-00157)
    1. Receiving and filing the Minneapolis Youth Coordinating Board's Youth Master Plan.

    2. Directing the Health Commissioner to work with the Director of the Youth Coordinating Board to assist with Youth Master Plan implementation and use to help guide the City’s work with young people over the next five years.

    3. Directing the Minneapolis Youth Cabinet to review the Youth Master Plan’s alignment with existing City and department policies, procedures, goals and other plans in order to offer support to the Plan; identify relevant recommendations for the City to implement, including but not limited to procedure change and piloting new trainings and initiatives; support the implementation of recommended action items, including but not limited to providing technical assistance, implementing action items with appropriate departments/staff, and providing continuous implementation support; and participate in the evaluation of implemented recommendations and the Plan as a whole in cooperation with the Youth Coordinating Board.

    1. Receiving and filing an update report from the Minneapolis Health Department’s Office of Violence Prevention re: Prevention Fund Update 2019.
