    1. Passage of Ordinance amending Title 15 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Offenses—Miscellaneous, adding thereto a new Chapter 402 entitled “Prohibition of Conversion Therapy” to prohibit conversion therapy or reparative therapy.

    2. Passage of Ordinance amending Title 1, Chapter 2 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to General Provisions: Administrative Enforcement and Hearing Process, amending provisions related to personnel authorized to issue citations.

    3. Passage of Ordinance amending Title 7, Chapter 139 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Civil Rights: In General, amending definitions relating to gender identity and sexual orientation to coincide with Chapter 402 prohibiting conversion therapy.

    1. Passage of Ordinance amending Title 10, Chapter 204 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Food Code, Environmental Preservation: Environmentally Acceptable Packaging, amending regulations to provide a recycling and/or organics management system at public events and markets, and exempting some food establishments from the requirement to provide front of the house recycling and/or organics collection.

    1. Passage of Ordinance amending Title 11, Chapter 255 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Health and Sanitation: Garbage and Refuse, amending regulations for the use of carry out bags in retail establishments to require a fee on single use plastic and paper carry out retail bags.

    1. Approving the following Council appointments to fill unexpired two-year terms, beginning Jan 1, 2019, and ending Dec 31, 2020: Emma Grey, Seat 6, Ward 6; and Alma Miklasevics, Seat 3, Ward 9.

  2. 6 Grant from the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority to develop a health dashboard of highrise residents in Minneapolis This link open a new window(2019-01317)
    1. Accepting a grant in the amount of $13,260 from the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority for an Intern's salary and other expenses to develop a dashboard that will display the health data of highrise residents in Minneapolis.

    2. Authorizing an agreement with the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority for the grant.

    3. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Health Department.

  3. 7 Minnesota Department of Health grant for outreach to vaccine-hesitant Somali parents This link open a new window(2019-01318)
    1. Accepting a grant from the Minnesota Department of Health, in the amount of $120,000, to implement culturally-appropriate immunization outreach within the Somali community for a three-year period of Jan 1, 2020 to Dec 31, 2022.

    2. Authorizing an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Health for the grant.

    3. Passage of Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Health Department.

  4. 8 Master Grant contract with The Minnesota Department of Health for health services This link open a new window(2019-01316)
    1. Authorizing the Minneapolis City Council, in its capacity as a Community Health Board, to execute a Master Grant contract with the Minnesota Department of Health for health services, for a five year duration of Jan 1, 2020 through Dec 31, 2024.   Individual projects and funding will be issued under the Master Grant Contract through project agreements.

  5. 9 Community Solar Garden agreements This link open a new window(2019-01320)
    1. Authorizing a contract with Innovative Power Systems, in an amount up to $700,000 annually over a 25-year period, for a total 25-year contract value not to exceed $14.9 million, for 4,920,000 kWh annually in Community Solar Garden subscriptions. 

    2. Authorizing a contract with US Solar, in an amount up to $800,000 annually over a 25-year period, for a total 25-year contract value not to exceed $17.5 million, for 6,260,000 million kWh annually in Community Solar Garden subscriptions. 

  6. 10 Contract/Practicum experience agreement with Bethel University School of Nursing for internship experience through the School Based Clinic Program This link open a new window(2019-01325)
    1. Authorizing a contract/Practicum experience agreement with Bethel University School of Nursing for their students to receive internship experience through the School Based Clinics Program, with agreements to be automatically renewed annually up to ten (10) years, unless discontinued by either party.

  7. 11 Invasive tree species ordinances This link open a new window(2018-01330)
    1. Setting a public hearing for Dec 2, 2019, to consider an ordinance amending Title 15, Chapter 399 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Offenses--Miscellaneous: Control of Invasive Species Tree Pests, adding and amending provisions related to the removal of trees subject to invasive species infestation.

  8. 12 Minneapolis Commission on Civil Rights appointments This link open a new window(2019-01322)
    1. Setting a public hearing for Dec. 2, 2019, to consider the following Council appointment to the Commission on Civil Rights for a three-year term beginning Jan 1, 2020, and ending Dec 31, 2022: Bennett Hartz, Seat 15, Ward 7.

    2. Setting a public hearing for Dec. 2, 2019, to consider the following Council reappointments to the Commission on Civil Rights for three-year terms beginning Jan 1, 2020, and ending Dec 31, 2022: Cindy Devonish, Seat 18, Ward 4; and Cindy Lord, Seat 16, Ward 11. 

    3. Setting a public hearing for Dec. 2, 2019, to consider the following Mayoral appointments to the Commission on Civil Rights for three-year terms beginning Jan 1, 2020, and ending Dec 31, 2022: Kayesh Magan, Seat 20, Ward 6; and Janelle Shoemake, Seat 21, Ward 3.    

    4. Setting a public hearing for Dec. 2, 2019, to consider the following Mayoral reappointments to the Commission on Civil Rights for three-year terms beginning Jan 1, 2020, and ending Dec 31, 2022: Lee Linderman, Seat 19, Ward 13; and David Farrar, Seat 17, Ward 7.  

    5. Setting a public hearing for Dec. 2, 2019, to consider the following Mayoral appointments to the Commission on Civil Rights for unexpired three-year terms beginning Jan 1, 2018, and ending Dec 31, 2020: Jared Widseth, Seat 1, Ward 8; Parinaz Kassemi, Seat 3, Ward 10; and Kate Stevens, Seat 5, Ward 12.

    1. Setting a public hearing for Dec 2, 2019, to consider an ordinance amending Title 3 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Air Pollution and Environmental Protection, adding thereto a new Chapter 45 entitled Environmental Program Fees to centrally locate existing environmental fees, and amending various provisions to reference the new chapter, update to ensure compliance with state law changes, and for accuracy and clarity:

    2. Setting a public hearing for Dec 2, 2019, to consider an ordinance amending Title 15, Chapter 389 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Offenses--Miscellaneous: Noise, amending provisions to reference proper location of fees for existing permit types within the Code.

    1. Receiving and filing a presentation on Child Friendly Cities Initiative.

    2. Passage of Resolution reaffirming the City's support of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and to pursue this designation throught UNICEF USA, and directing staff to implement necessary steps to become one of the first Child Friendly Cities in the US.
