    1. Passage of Ordinance amending Title 13, Chapter 267 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Licenses and Business Regulations: Amusements, adding and amending provisions related to places of adult entertainment.

  1. 3 Grant from Hennepin County for teen pregnancy prevention services This link open a new window(2019-00911)
    1. Accepting a grant from Hennepin County in the amount of $674,386, for a five-year period between Jul 1, 2015, through Jun 30, 2020, for teen pregnancy prevention services for the Health Department's School Based Clinics.

    1. Authorizing a contract with Bridge Health Care Partners, in an amount not to exceed $652,000, for up to five years to provide revenue cycle management billing and consultation and training services to the School-Based Clinics program.

    1. Setting a public hearing for Aug 26, 2019, to consider the following Council appointments to fill unexpired two-year terms beginning Jul 1, 2018, and ending Jun 30, 2020: John Benda, Seat 1, Ward 13; and Henry Gowin, Seat 2, Ward 8.

    2. Setting a public hearing for Aug 26, 2019, to consider the following Council appointments for two-year terms beginning Jul 1, 2019, and ending Jun 30, 2021: Patrice Howard, Seat 3, Ward 4; and Laura Nudell Lee, Seat 5, Ward 13.

    3. Setting a public hearing for Aug 26, 2019, to consider the following Mayoral appointments for two-year terms beginning Jul 1, 2019, and ending Jun 30, 2021: Devin Wise, Seat 7, Ward 7.

    1. Accepting a grant from Hennepin County in the amount of $90,000, for a five-year period from Jul 1, 2019 through Jun 30, 2024, for mental health services at the Health Department's School Based Clinics.

    3. Passage of a Resolution approving appropriation of funds to the Health Department.

    1. Receiving and filing a report from the Minneapolis Health Department related to Biochar and its use to sequester carbon and improve soil quality in the City of Minneapolis.

Addendum

  1. 8 Licensing regulations for places of adult entertainment ordinance This link open a new window(2018-00137)
    1. Directing Department of Community Planning & Economic Development/Licenses & Consumer Services Division staff to give adult entertainment establishments until September 1, 2022, to implement the physical space requirements in Section 267.1180 (b)(4) and (b)(5) pertaining to seating materials and semi-enclosed or private space partition height and entrance width.

      Further, directing Licenses & Consumer Services staff to work with Health Department, Department of Civil Rights, and the City Coordinator’s Office staff to convene a workgroup of entertainers and industry representatives to make recommendations on newly required materials, including training materials, notices detailing the legal rights of entertainers, and notices detailing the rules of conduct to be followed by customers.
