  1. 2 Land sale: 2800 18th Ave N to Jeffrey Law and Northgate Development LLC This link open a new window(2018-00568)
    1. Passage of Resolution approving the sale of the property at 2800 18th Ave N, (Disposition Parcel No. MH-43) to Jeffrey Law and Northgate Development LLC for $30,000, subject to conditions.  If Jeffrey Law and Northgate Development LLC fail to close, approving the sale of the property at 2800 18th Ave N to Jenny Investments LLC for $30,000, subject to conditions.

    1. Passage of Resolution approving the sale of the property at 1405 16th Ave N, (Disposition Parcel No. MH-77), to A Vision LLC for $10,800, subject to conditions.

    2. Approving the award of up to $20,000 in Homebuyer Incentive funds to Carmeann Foster and Michael Foster.

    3. Authorizing the execution of related agreements with the selected homebuyers.

  3. 4 Supplemental award and bond issuance for Hook & Ladder Apartments Project: 2318 Jefferson St NE and 640 24th Ave NE This link open a new window(2018-00587)
    1. Approving additional funding up to $675,000 from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund's Family Housing Initiative and Contingency Pool for the Hook & Ladder Apartments project located at 2318 Jefferson St NE and 640 24th Ave NE to Hook & Ladder Apartments Limited Partnership, an affiliate of Newport Midwest LLC, or its affiliated entity.

    2. Passage of Resolution authorizing final approval to the issuance of Tax Exempt Multifamily Housing Revenue Entitlement Bonds in an amount not to exceed $15,900,000 for Hook & Ladder Apartments project.

  2. 6 Applications for grant funding for the 2018 Metropolitan Council Livable Communities Demonstration Account (LCDA) and Livable Communities Demonstration Account Transit Oriented Development (LCDA-TOD) Grants round This link open a new window(2018-00586)

Passage of Resolution authorizing submission and priority ranking of grant applications to the Metropolitan Council Transit Oriented Development (LCDA-TOD) grant program for the following developments:  Lake Street Apartments Phase I , 410 W Lake St; Amber Apartments , 4525 Hiawatha Ave; and The Peris Development, 1930 Hennepin Ave S.

    2. Passage of Resolution authorizing submission and priority ranking of grant applications to the Metropolitan Council Livable Communities Demonstration Account (LCDA) grant program for the following developments:  Olson Towne Homes, 461 Girard Ave N; Northgate Training Center, 1200 Plymouth Ave N; and Gateway Northeast, 2435 Marshall Ave NE.

    1. Passage of Resolution establishing a Minneapolis Advisory Committee on Housing to advise City Departments and City Council on housing issues.

  1. 8 Report of Heading Home Together: Minnesota's 2018-2020 Action Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness This link open a new window(2018-00590)
    1. Authorizing the City of Minneapolis to formally sign on as a partner to the Minnesota Interagency Council on Homelessness’ Heading Home Together: Minnesota’s 2018-2020 Action Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness, and expressing general agreement with the principles and goals of the Action Plan.  The City of Minneapolis agrees to find opportunities to align our work to help end homelessness and make progress toward the vision, goals and principles outlined in the plan.

    2. Directing the Department of Community Planning & Economic Development staff to identify specific actions the City of Minneapolis is taking consistent with the Action Plan and recommend future actions, including outcome measuring, we could take to be aligned more closely with its goals and particular strategies.
