  1. 2 Quitclaim Deed for the property at 2212 36th Avenue North This link open a new window(2018-00330)
    1. Passage of Resolution authorizing execution of a Quitclaim Deed for $1 from the City of Minneapolis to Lurah Bean to correct a title description error in a tax forfeit deed the City acquired from the State of Minnesota for property at 2212 36th Ave N along the north and south lines thereof.

    1. Referring to staff the subject matter of an ordinance amending Title 12, Chapter 244 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Housing: Maintenance Code, adding and amending provisions establishing renter protections.

Discussion

  1. 4 Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF) Award for the Dundry-Hope Block Stabilization Phase II project This link open a new window(2018-00355)
    1. Approving an award of Affordable Housing Trust Funds for the Dundry-Hope Block Stabilization Phase II project in the amount of $199,000.

    2. Approving an extension of the terms of the AHTF loan of $332,000 to run simultaneously with the new debt.

    3. Approving the release of two properties from the 1994 Minneapolis Community Development Agency (MCDA) loan.

  2. 5 Contracts with Minnesota Homeownership Center to provide administration and oversight of homebuyer education and financial wellness services This link open a new window(2018-00356)
    1. Authorizing a contract with Minnesota Homeownership Center in an amount not-to-exceed $175,000, for a period of one year through Dec. 31, 2018, subject to up to two (2) additional one-year extensions by the CPED Director, dependent on availability of funds in future approved City budgets, as follows:  $80,000 for programmatic functions for homebuyer education and detailed homeownership counseling services; and $95,000 for administration and oversight of homebuyer education and detailed homeownership counseling services. 

    2. Authorizing a contract with Minnesota Homeownership Center in an amount not-to-exceed $100,000, for a period of one year through Dec. 31, 2018, subject to up to two (2) additional one-year extensions by the CPED Director dependent on availability of funds in future approved City budgets, as follow: $85,000 for Financial Wellness programmatic functions; and $15,000 for Financial Wellness program administration and oversight.
