  1. 2 Riverton Community Housing project bond issuance, 1220 Brook Ave SE This link open a new window(2018-00280)
    1. Passage of Resolution authorizing final approval to the issuance of Tax Exempt 501c3 Housing Revenue bonds in a principal amount not to exceed $25,000,000 for the Riverton Community Housing project at 1220 Brook Ave SE.

    2. Approving specific housing goals for the Riverton Community Housing project with 15% of the units at 50% Area Median Income (AMI) and 75% of the units at 80% AMI for 30 years.

    1. Referring to staff the subject matter of an ordinance amending Title 12, Chapter 244 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Housing:  Maintenance Code, amending provisions related to conduct on licensed premises.

    1. Setting a public hearing for March 27, 2018, to consider the appointment by the Executive Committee of David Frank to the appointed position of Director of Community Planning & Economic Development for a two-year term beginning Jan. 2, 2018.

    1. Receiving and filing the Public Health Advisory Committee (PHAC) report and recommendations to create a Housing Advisory Committee.

    1. Directing staff to create an internal Conduct on Premises work group to consist of representatives from the Police Department, Regulatory Services, the City Attorney's Office, and the Health Department, and to report back to the Housing Policy and Development Committee by Sept 30, 2018.

  2. 7 Public Health Advisory Committee report and recommendations to create a Housing Advisory Committee This link open a new window(2018-00281)
    1. Directing Community Planning & Economic Development (CPED), Regulatory Services and Health Department staff to return to the Housing Policy and Development Committee by April 18, 2018, with a draft resolution to create a Minneapolis Advisory Committee on Housing. This resolution should include the committee’s name and purpose, the department or departments that will staff the committee, the number of appointees, the perspectives or organizations each appointee represents, the length of appointee terms, the appointing authority for each appointee, the committee’s reporting timelines, how the chairperson and other officers will be selected, attendance requirements, and any other information required by the City Clerk.
