Discussion

  1. 2 Appointed position in the Police Department: Chief of Staff, MPD This link open a new window(EX2019-00006)
    1. Adopting findings that the proposed position meets the criteria in Section 20.1010 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances, City Council to Establish Positions.

    2. Approving the appointed position of Chief of Staff Minneapolis Police Department, evaluated at 705 total points and allocated to Grade 15.

    3. Approving the salary schedule for the position, which has a salary range of $130,850 to $155,114, in accordance with the adopted compensation plan for appointed officials effective Mar 14, 2019.

    4. Referring the matter to the City Council.

    1. Approving an increase to the salary and wage schedules, including longevity, by 2.35% for all classified jobs in the Politically Appointed group effective at the start of the pay period that is closest to Feb 1, 2019.

    2. Authorizing step progression, subject to satisfactory or better performance.

    3. Referring the matter to the City Council.

    1. Approving an increase to the salary and wage schedules, including longevity, by 2.35% for all classified jobs in the Non-Represented group effective at the start of the pay period that is closest to Feb 1, 2019.

    2. Authorizing step progression, subject to satisfactory or better performance.

    3. Referring the matter to the City Council.

    3. Authorizing a collective bargaining agreement consistent with the terms of the Executive Summary.

    4. Authorizing the Labor Relations Director to implement the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.

    5. Referring the matter to the City Council.

    1. Approving a collective bargaining agreement with the Electrical Technicians Unit for the period Jan 1, 2019, through Dec 31, 2021.

    2. Approving the Executive Summary of the agreement.

    4. Authorizing the Labor Relations Director to implement the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.
