Approving the reinstatement of the Rental Dwelling License for the property at 2216 Ilion Ave N, formerly held by Donald Klyberg, to be held by new owner Jarrett Williams, based on submittal of an acceptable management plan and verification that said property is now in compliance with rental licensing standards.

    1. Authorizing a contract with Midwest Urban Strategies, Inc. in an amount up to $30,000, for development of best practices, strategies, and coordinated resources that promote the Midwest region’s workforce development system through June 30, 2021.

    1. Directing Department of Community Planning & Economic Development (CPED)/Licenses & Consumer Services Division staff to work with the Minneapolis Health Department to explore enacting a cap on the number of tobacco licenses in Minneapolis; examine the implications of changing the definition of tobacco product shops to make it more similar to the definition of off-sale liquor establishments; and report back to the Economic Development & Regulatory Services Committee with recommendations on these matters in the first quarter of 2020.
