    1. Passage of Resolution accepting a gift of goods and services from Vibrant and Safe, valued approximately in the amount of $62,000, for the Minneapolis SafeZONE Collaborative to help support Minneapolis Police Super Bowl LII safety efforts costs related to visiting public safety officials.

Authorizing an increase to Contract No. C-41089 in the amount of $45,000 for a new not-to-exceed amount of $565,000 to include up to four (4) plain clothes officers from the City's Police Department to the scope of services for law enforcement in the neighborhood areas adjacent to the US Bank Stadium during large scale events (this contract excludes Super Bowl LII events).

  3. Grant from the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education (MBFTE) training reimbursement This link open a new window(2018-00041)
    1. Approving acceptance of a grant from the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education (MBFTE) under the Round 10 training reimbursement program in the amount of $42,622, for MBFTE approved training conducted between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018.

    2. Passage of Resolution appropriating funds to the Fire Department.

  4. Grant from the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) for community collective healing and officer wellness This link open a new window(2018-00043)
    1. Accepting a grant from the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) in the amount of $750,000 to provide coummunity outreach for collective healing and organizational support for officer wellness.

    2. Authorizing an agreement with the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) for the grant.

    3. Passage of Resolution approving an appropriation of funds to the Police Department.

    4. Authorizing an increase in the number of non-sworn FTEs for 1 Project Coodinator and 0.6 Administrative Assistant.

    5. Approving agreements with project partners identified during the application process: Minneapolis Urban Ventures; Barbara Schneider Foundation; Joi Unlimited; Justice Leadership Solutions; Urban Ventures for Urban Youth; YouthLink Minneapolis; and, Project Researcher (TBD).

    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. C-40491 with Translanguages, LLC in the amount of $5,000 for a total amount not-to-exceed $65,000, for translation and interpretation services for the Minneapolis Police Department.

    1. Authorizing a contract with Aspen Psychological Consulting, LLC, for pre-placement and fitness-for-duty evaluation services for the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) in an amount not-to-exceed $540,697.45 for the period from Jan. 2018 - Dec. 2021.

    1. Authorizing an increase to Contract No. C-42537 with American Environmental, LLC in the amount of $86,107, for a revised total contract amount not to exceed $332,395, and extending the contract through March 31, 2018, for additional storm sewer cleaning.

    1. Accepting a grant from the Minnesota Department of Health, in the amount of $10,000, for training of four (4) Water Stewards by the Freshwater Society.

    2. Authorizing an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Health for the grant.

    1. Authorizing a contract with the Hennepin County Sentencing to Service (STS) Program in an amount not-to-exceed $75,000 over three years to perform snow removal at bus stops/intersection corners, turf maintenance, debris pickup, and other maintenance service for the Public Works Department.

    1. Authorizing a contract with Hennepin County for processing and disposal of municipal solid wastes collected in Minneapolis at a rate of $58 per ton from Jan 1, 2018, through Dec 31, 2020.

    1. Authorizing an amendment to Contract No. C-42536 with Thomas and Sons Construction, Inc. in the amount of $65,000, for a revised contract total of $359,666.55, for additional work orders for the Seward Bicycle Project No. 9967 (CBIK28).

    1. Passage of Resolution designating the location and improvements proposed to be made in the Penn Ave N (W Broadway Ave to Lowry Ave N) Street Reconstruction Project, Special Improvement of Existing Street No. 1002 (CPV074).

    2. Adopting report receiving the cost estimate of $2,500,000, and directing the preparation of proposed special assessments against the list of benefited properties.

  8. 5th St SE Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge: Reimbursement and setting Municipal Consent public hearing This link open a new window(2018-00022)
    1. Authorizing Public Works to be reimbursed up to $7,000 (to Fund No. 07400-9010950-CWT9R1830) from Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) for design of water main relocation work. 

  9. Mid-City Industrial Reconstruction: Project designation, cost estimate, and appropriation increase This link open a new window(2018-00021)
    1. Passage of Resolution designating the locations and improvements proposed to be made in the Mid-City Reconstruction Project, Special Improvement of Existing Street No. 2292 (CPV124).

    2. Adopting report receiving the cost estimate of $22,284,551, and directing the preparation of proposed special assessments against the list of benefited properties.

    3. Passage of Resolution increasing the appropriation in the Stormwater Fund by $291,000 to be funded by stormwater revenue, for a total stormwater appropriation of $366,000.

Accepting the low bid of Sheehy Construction Company, submitted on Official Publication No. 8483, in the amount of $621,300.00, to provide all materials, labor, equipment and incidentals for the construction of the Parking Ramp Condenser Unit Replacement Project - Phase 2017B for the City of Minneapolis, Public Works Department, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.

Accepting the low bid of Diversified Infrastructure Services, Inc., submitted on Official Publication No. 8504, in the amount of $440,583.30, to provide all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals for the cleaning of the small diameter sanitary sewer system for the City of Minneapolis, Public Works Department, and authorizing a contract for the project, all in accordance with City specifications.

    1. Authorizing a Bailment Agreement with Polaris Industries, Inc. for use of 13 All Terrain Vehicles (side by sides) for patrolling and inspecting multiple areas of Minneapolis from Jan. 22, 2018 - Feb.9, 2018.
