Public Hearing

  1. 2 2020 City Budget revisions This link open a new window(2020-00719)
    1. Receiving and filing public comment on proposed revisions to the adopted 2020 City Budget.

    2. Passage of Resolution amending the 2020 General Appropriation Resolution by reducing expense budgets, across multiple funds.

    3. Passage of Resolution accepting $4,000,000 from the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Housing Finance Board in support of the revised 2020 City Budget; and amending the 2020 General Appropriation to appropriate the transfer of funds.

    4. Passage of Resolution amending Resolution 2019R-397 entitled “Requesting that the Board of Estimate and Taxation authorize the City to incur indebtedness and issue and sell City of Minneapolis bonds in the amount of $45,972,000 for certain purposes other than the purchase of public utilities,” passed Dec 11, 2019, by increasing indebtedness for certain projects by $5,253,000 for a new revised total of $51,225,000.

    5. Passage of Resolution amending Resolution 2019R-398 entitled “Requesting that the Board of Estimate and Taxation authorize the City to incur indebtedness and issue and sell City of Minneapolis bonds in the amount of $37,285,000 for certain purposes other than the purchase of public utilities,” passed Dec 11, 2019, to increase the bond funding for On-Street Systems Parking Meter Replacement by $3,000,000 and increase the total bonding request for On-Street Systems Parking Meter Replacement from $0 to $3,000,000; and amending the 2020 General Appropriation to appropriate the transfer of funds.

    6. Passage of Resolution requesting that the Board of Estimate and Taxation authorize the City to incur indebtedness and issue and sell City of Minneapolis bonds in the amount of $3,000,000 for the On-Street Systems Parking Meter Replacement.

    7. Passage of Resolution authorizing mandatory furloughs for classified and unclassified exempt employees and non-exempt employees.
